Description: Go glamping (glamorous camping) in this lovingly restored 1962 Traveleze Trailer owned by one of the Sisters on the Fly! Twin beds can combine into a single bed wider than a Queen mattress, and with extra padding, you could get all the way up to California King width!

The trailer is available for inspection and pickup in Spokane, WA.

Vintage style meets modern conveniences…you’ll love this trailer, just as we have:

-Deep-cycle battery so that you can camp off the grid
-Unique lighting, including antlers, fishing lures, and personal reading lights above beds
-Drawer pulls are made of horseshoes for a fun Western theme
-Wood-cut stars and other elegant touches throughout
-Able to stand comfortably inside (accommodates up to 6 feet tall, plus shoes)
-Table seats convert to two Twin beds or a single bed that’s wider than a Queen mattress
-If you’re camping alone, consider setting up one bed for sleeping and the other for table seating
-Sleep a child or a pet on the optional built-in cot above the beds, or use the cot for easy access to supplies
-Onboard water tank with hand pump at sink
-Or connect to a hose for built-in water pressure at sink (uses the other faucet)
-Propane stove and oven for easy and fun meals
-Keep bugs out with the original screen door and screened-in windows
-Stay cool with a roof vent and louver windows
-Built in electric fan for hot summer nights
-12 volt outlets under each dinette seat for easy charging of portable devices
-Tons of on-board storage, with room for bedding, clothing, dishes, cookware, camping supplies, and more
-Original icebox keeps food cool and fresh
-15 foot length gives plenty of space but ensures easy and lightweight towing
-Low profile means you can store your trailer in a standard garage (with 8-foot door)

Here are all the nuts-and-bolts details for this trailer:

-Maximum dimensions (including the hitch, exterior lights and plugs, doorknob, and roof vent) are 180 inches long x 82 inches wide x 91 inches tall
-The living quarters have exterior dimensions of 148 inches long x 77 inches wide x 77 inches tall
-When flat, each bed mattress measures 73.5 inches long x 32 inches wide x 4 inches tall
-When setup as two Twin beds, there’s a 7-inch space between the beds, so one person can put their feet on the floor and walk toward the kitchen without climbing over the other person
-When setup as a single bed, the sleeping surface measures 66 inches wide (six inches wider than a Queen mattress). You could add extra foam or padding to extend another 6 inches and get all the way up to California King width (and store the extra material under the icebox or under the seats when not in use)
-Maximum headroom in kitchen area is 73.5 inches
-Maximum headroom in bed/dining area is 64.5 inches
-Standard 2″ ball for towing
-Ideal tow height would be to have your ball approximately 19 inches off the ground
-Uses a 7 RV Blade wiring connector to tow vehicle
-There are 2 faucets on the sink; one connects to a hose hook-up (if available) and provides instant water pressure, the other connects to the onboard water tank and uses a pumping mechanism
-The antler light and fishing tackle light run on 120V and operate only when connected to shore power
-The 120V outlet near the fan operates only when connected to shore power
-The reading lights above each bed, and the nautical light above the kitchen counter, run on battery or on shore power
-The 12V outlets under each bed run on battery or on shore power
-The fan runs on battery or on shore power
-No electric brakes installed…the trailer is so light that we never needed them. We towed this trailer with a Nissan Pathfinder midsize SUV and made trips to central Idaho, to Alberta, and to other mountainous destinations without issue

We’re selling this trailer because our family has grown, and the trailer can’t accommodate two adults and two children. We’ll be sad to say goodbye.

Price includes all hardware, but not the bedding or decorations shown in the photos. After all, you’ll want to decorate with your own unique style!

Cash or cashier’s check only.

If you have questions, please ask via email or call/text.

Description: 1954 22’ Airstream Safari for sale: Rare 13 panel, totally redone in 2010. An effort was made to keep as much of the original trailer as possible while modernizing the electrical, plumbing, heat and appliances. All original windows. Any wood that had to be replaced was replaced with birch. We repainted the inside with Zolatone, used Forbo Marmoleum on the floor, and kept all the original lighting and hardware that we could. The countertops were replaced with boomerang pattern laminate.

The frame was entirely rebuilt with new axle and tires. New fresh and gray water tanks. New toilet and furnace. Inverter battery. Dometic fridge/freezer that runs on electric or propane. New upholstery for seats and beds done in Eames “Circles pattern fabric. The propane tanks are aluminum and will not rust.

You could sleep up to 4 people in the trailer. 2 adults comfortably. The dining table converts to a bed, and there is a bunk above the back beds where a child could sleep (no mattress currently…we used the space for storage.) There is storage underneath the back beds and the dining benches, as well as a closet space in the main trailer. open to offers. selling due to health.
